Expanding Partnerships – Meeting with GIC
On March 11, 2025, Shorena Kopaleishvili, Chairwoman of the Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons, met with Mr. Kasper Ditlevsen, a representative of the Georgian Innovation Center (GIC).
GIC (website: gic.bz) specializes in remote company formation and management in Georgia, offering services such as company registration, assistance with opening bank accounts, and accounting support. A significant portion of GIC’s clients are foreign entrepreneurs interested in doing business in Georgia.

The meeting was highly productive, with both parties addressing key issues critical to business development in the virtual zone, including:
Establishing clear criteria for obtaining virtual zone status during the application process
Resolving challenges related to opening bank accounts for companies
Clarifying tax regulations

As a result of the meeting, an official collaboration was initiated.
