The Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons supports women in tech!
The Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons actively supports initiatives aimed at developing the role of women in the technology industry. Chairperson Shorena Kopaleishvili has been invited to the fourth stakeholder meeting of the EU-funded ‘Women Mentorship in Tech Programmes’ project, co-hosted by the EBA Digital Committee and Business and Technology University (BTU).
The meeting gathered mentors, lecturers, private sector representatives, and professionals dedicated to advancing gender equality and digital inclusion in Georgia. The discussion focused on the importance of mentorship and skills development for women in tech, aligning with the Association’s mission to foster a supportive and inclusive business environment.
As part of the event, participants attended an exclusive workshop on Building Partnerships with EU Companies in the Digital Industry, led by Developers Alliance, an EBA member. This session provided valuable insights into strategic engagement, effective communication, and business growth opportunities in the digital sector.
The Association recognizes the crucial role of women in shaping the future of the IT industry and is committed to supporting their professional growth. To strengthen this initiative, we are planning new collaborations and projects aimed at increasing opportunities for female professionals in tech.
