In 2024, the Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons focused on strengthening the operational environment for VZP companies, driving economic growth, and enhancing international relations. Our sector’s contributions have been substantial, with tax payments reaching 85.4M GEL in just 10 months of 2024, showcasing the growing impact of the VZP sector on Georgia’s economy.
Our international collaborations were also a highlight. In 2024, the Association actively participated in high-profile events such as the EU4Digital ICT Innovation Forum, engaging with ambassadors from the EU and US, and contributed to key discussions on regulatory issues. These efforts have strengthened Georgia’s position as a growing IT hub, with continued emphasis on creating favorable conditions for innovation.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are committed to promoting talent development, furthering international expansion, and continuing our advocacy for regulatory reforms that support VZP companies. We will also continue our focus on empowering women in the tech industry and fostering Georgia’s competitive advantage in the global digital economy.
To highlight these achievements and future goals, we’ve prepared a detailed presentation covering the key points of 2024 and our strategic direction for 2025. You can explore the full presentation for more insights.
