Association at UN Global Compact Network Georgia Meeting
On September 17, the Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons participated in a meeting organized by the UN Global Compact Network Georgia. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Georgian legislation on personal data protection. Saba Elizbarashvili, an expert in personal data protection, artificial intelligence, and human rights issues, chaired the meeting.
The meeting discussed such important issues as personal data protection legislation, legislative innovations, principles and bases of data processing, data subject rights, use of personal data in modern information technologies, international data transfer, personal data and artificial intelligence, information processing, and others.
The chairman of the Association, Shorena Kopaleishvili, had the opportunity to ask some important questions that were received from the members of the Association. The target recipient will receive the answers in the shortest time.
