It would be good if we were more flexible in the IT sector – Business Ombudsman
According to Otar Danelia, the Business Ombudsman of Georgia, it would be good if we were more flexible in the direction of the IT sector in Georgia. He stated this in response to BM.GE’s question after the meeting held at the Georgian Business Association.
In which sector is the most work? To this question, the Business Ombudsman responds: “It would be good if I were even more flexible in the IT direction, to maintain as much of the flow that entered the country… remote services, e-commerce.”
According to Otar Danelia, the business is currently most concerned with the problem of the professional workforce.
“One of the biggest challenges for the sector is the professional workforce. We have a paradoxical situation in which, on the one hand, someone is looking for work while, on the other, the employer is unable to find a professional.Training and qualification improvement are required here; the Business Ombudsman’s office has its own powers and competence; however, within the scope of our expertise, we will make every effort to mediate in this area,” he stated.
